Hi Paula:
I just left you a Voicemail message. As I mentioned on my Voicemail Stu is no longer with Clear Rate. I was happy to see your note about a revised Proposal and I was wondering if there may be a convenient time for a call on Monday next week? I would be on the call along with Our Sales Engineer George Aldea. If you could let me know if you have some availability on Monday I will work to accommodate your schedule and send out a meeting invitation to you. We look very forward to speaking with you!
Sincerely,
Tom

Hi there. Ok. I would like another proposal.
We will separate our current system into 2.
Having VOIP on our main lines - keeping the fax line as the emergency line as it currently stands.
I believe this will work. We would only need 6 phones potentially - with 2 of them being wireless handsets.
Can we please communicate tomorrow afternoon or on Friday morning? What time

Good Afternoon Paula,
I appreciate your candor and sharing the thoughts of the committee.
I want to reiterate a couple of the points we’ve discussed over the last month or so, to make sure I haven’t left out any details:
• The site survey (at no-cost to First Hebrew Congregation) would determine if there was any costly infrastructure upgrades required to install the new phone system. At this point, we have no idea what (if anything) may be required. Simply submitting an order does not obligate the congregation in any way, and in fact, is a great way to determine if there is anything needed.
• You can always adjust the phone quantities at any time throughout the pre-installation process.
• While the cost is higher than your current invoice because the number of phones you’ve added, it is still a great deal considering all the new the new technology and upgrades the congregation will be receiving.
• The price-point per seat license (22 licenses) quoted in the proposal is deeply discounted, to reflect First Congregation’s status as a current Clear Rate customer.
• The cost of your current service for POTS lines has increased each year in 2021, 2022, and 2023 due to Verizon price increases which unfortunately Clear Rate has to pass on to our customers at some point. Another increase will likely occur later in 2024 which will minimize or completely negate the difference between your current monthly invoice and the price First Congregation would pay with a new VoIP phone system from Clear Rate Communications.
• Ordering these services through Clear Rate, a national provider for businesses throughout the country, is the easiest and most reliable way to upgrade your phones since we already have your phone lines with us.
• Your pricing after 36 months will drop significantly, once the lease portion drops off.
Please share these points with all other decision makers, and let me know if you have any other questions prior to May 15th.
Best regards,
Stu Rothstein

Thanks Stuart. So I met with our president and treasurer today and while we would like to make a decision we are going to hold off. We have a new school director starting mid month in May and we would like to get her input on the number of phones. We really do not want to replace all of the current infrastructure. We really need to reduce our costs, not increase them. We will be in touch soon.

Hello Paula,
I neglected to mention one important highlight of the proposal:
At the end of the 36 month term agreement, not only will First Hebrew Congregation own the phones outright, but also the cost of your services will be reduced substantially (since the lease charge is eliminated ). The exact amount of the reduction will be based on current pricing at that time, but it should result in a reduction of about $150.00 per month.
Please let me know if you or the committee has any additional questions.
